I remember asking Nick & Nora a few years ago about what the deal was with Nicole Kidman.
Was she really the nice sort of bird that you see on TV or was she a young harridan in disguise?

Now this is interesting, I hadn't even heard about the book. Normally get coverage of things long before they're released here.
Wonder if this means that Oz MSM will play it down / mostly ignore it, because, after all, it's "our Nic" and they don't want to get her off side?
Interesting, we'll see what happens when it comes out in a couple of weeks.
Mind you, I'm a little surprised that anyone managed to write an entire book about Nic - what's to say?
The Weekend Australian Magazine has an excerpt from the book this weekend.
"Controversial" is how the Australian tries to present it, but if the excerpt is anything to go by, the book would make for a boring read. It's very well written, not trash-bang stuff, although a little labored trying to dissect and magnify things that are essentially trivia and speculation. But, being well written doesn't make up for a boring subject matter.
Don't see anything of controversy here. Bit of a yawn.

Yes, she is ambitious - and that is a good thing in a country like ours that is becoming more and more overrun with apathetic bludgers who won't take responsibility for their actions but will scream blue-bloody-murder if the football is on TV 10 minutes late.
I am of the impression that Nic marries only for power rather than anything else (hence, why she never married again after Tom Cruise - there was nobody higher in Hollywood that was single and had the power that he *had*).
That's about as much as I can say about her though - never met her but I think I'd like to - I like the tall ones :)
'Our Nic' is, indeed, an ambitious little vixen who has 'relationshipped' her way to the top. Having spent a little time with her some years ago, one can attest to her social frigidity. Nora and I admit it's a suprise she married 'down' to Urban - we were expecting her next step would be an Onassis.
